About this Event

So many people want to rebuild their flooded homes in a way that won’t be as devastated by a subsequent flood event. That’s a tall order. Still, what materials are better than others? How much more expensive are they? How do the materials that we all know really perform? Isn’t it better to raise the house, or should we start over?

Wes raised his house after a 2009 flood, and hasn’t flooded again. Richard will present his findings from SPEER’s analysis of home insulation that flooded in Hurricane Harvey. Steve will share his research of various materials and methods of floodproofing out there in the green building realm.

You’ll also hear a bit from the Sponsors and their materials.

CEU’s available.
