About the Topic:

The Urban Land Institute (ULI) recognized real estate’s responsibility and opportunity to address the climate crisis and work toward net zero. And thanks to a generous gift from five ULI members, ULI now offers technical assistance and ongoing support to a selection of cities around the world to help them reach net zero.

During this luncheon, representatives from ULI, The City of Austin and Austin Energy will discuss the recommendations from the City of Austin’s technical assistance panel and the next steps the city will take to move forward on Austin’s Climate Equity Plan.

Speakers:

  • Ashley Besic - Senior Manager, Greenprint Center for Building Performance at Urban Land Institute

  • Heidi Kasper - Energy Efficiency Services Manager, Customer Energy Solutions, Austin Energy Green Building

  • Zach Baumer - Manager, Climate Program at The City of Austin
